National Charity League Volunteers Remember Veterans With Public Service

A group of National Charity League volunteers with the New Canaan Chapter helped with locating headstones and replacing flags of Veterans of Foreign Wars on May 27, as part of a Memorial Day project.

The National Charity League, Inc. (NCL) is a non-profit national organization of mother and daughter members in Chapters across the United States. 

National Charity League was established in 1925. 

The mission of NCL is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. 

NCL is active in 26 states with 253 chapters and over 65,000 members. 

The NCL New Canaan Chapter was founded in 1992 and has grown to about 120 Patronesses (mothers) and 140 Ticktockers (daughters).
